Meaning behind the name

Hadassah is another name for Esther Hamalka, a heroin in Jewish history. She was a women that risked her life in order to save Klal Yisroel. Esther is also translated as 'hidden'. Esther hamalka concealed her Jewish identity in order to get close to the king to save the Jews. Though while she concealed externally her identity, within herself she knew that she was a jew and identified herself as one by listening to Mordechai. Esther had the will to stay close to her people, and yet take a huge risk by disguising herself in her role as the Queen. Through her merit, klal yisroel was saved and the Jews live today. Our baby Hadassah should grow to emulate the qualities of Esther Hamalka, and be a source of naches for Klal Yisroel.
